7 Things You Need To Recruit More Reps

In this post i breakdown the 7 things you need to recruit more reps according to Eric Worre.  These are the fundamentals to grow your self and your organization.  Without these, chances are you are just relying on luck or trying to beg your friends and family.

The first thing you need  to recruit more reps is to make the decision that you are going to start.  Your goals and desires can not be reached if you don’t decide that you are going to do.  Thoughts become things, only when you act on it.

The next thing you need is a good mindset.  You will have some resistance in the marketplace… even if you are good at getting people to convince themselves. You usually will get some sort of objection or rejection.  The key is to focus on the end game and posture up enough to not care about the outcome.  If you get a bunch of people saying no, you are closer to getting a yes. You just need to get better and not bitter.

The next thing you need to do is to start collecting friends.  What ever social media platform you are on, add 10 people every day.  It might not sound like a lot but it adds up fast.  That is 3,365 people a year…  Imagine if you do it on a few different platforms. You will never run out of people to talk to. It will take only a few minutes a day max.  One neat thing you can do on Facebook and Linked In is the capability to send people a Happy Birthday message.  With Facebook, you can use the voice recorder to send a voice message and it’s the next best thing to a phone call and people love it.

After that you need to establish positive daily habits to help transform you and compound your results.  These are things such as reading 20-30 minutes a day, listening to webinars, having masterminds, getting coaching, talking to people.  You always want to be learning and growing.

Also you always need to be prepared.  That means if someone comes up to you on the street saying they want to join you, you need to know what tool you are going to use to get them information, whether it’s handing them a business card, sending them a video, taking down their information, filling out a paper app etc.  You also need to be prepared to answer any questions or handle objections.  You should study your products and know how your company works.

The next thing is having enthusiasm.  If you are not excited about your product or opportunity, how are you supposed to expect your recruits to be.  Good energy is contagious and has the power to move people people.  If you are not convinced about your product or service, there is no reason to be doing it and you are doing yourself and your prospects a disservice.

The last thing you need to recruit more reps is the ability to think bigger.  You have a special gift to share with the world.  You have the power to transform lives, make people healthier, fix finances or make things simpler for people.  Learn how to create a vision that makes you get up everyday and eager to help people.  Learn how to step into the leader your organization needs.  Start being a mentor to help those around you.
